there wudnt be such drastic drops from now on...there are a lot of people below 500...the drop from now on cud b for 5 - 10 points...i dnt thik it will be 300 in just two months
Guys, I have predicted that the scores would definitely come down in the future draws, but this was surprising as I did not expect to go down this far. The fifth draw cut off points were 481 and that is sharp decline of 254 points from the previous draw cut off points of 735. This indicate that applicants with LMIA/PNP is over. This cut off point will go down further in the future draws as well, it could as low as 350 even further down is possible, since obtaining LMIA/PNP is not so easy and every month new entries into the pool no so huge. Even if there is new entrants, the majority lies between 350-500.
As I mentioned earlier, obtaining more than 494 points practically not possible for an ordinary applicant from outside Canada. CIC will have to go further would they need to meet their target of 150,000
Those who have less score, be patient and wait and start arranging all the other requirements and start filling all the forms like generic forms, back ground declaration, etc..
Can someone with a professional qualification such as CPA, CMA etc get points under CRS skill transferability. Certificate of qualification or is it purely for trade/hand work certificate of qualification.
Thanks for any clarification.
Scoring between 560-695 is next to impossible (Ive tried mostly all permutation combinations) hence most of the applicants in the pool are between 300-500 points, so the cutoff won't go down proportionately by approx. 37.5 points for each draw.
My prediction for the 5th draw would be 10-12Th March and 700 points would be minimum cutoff. If the cutoff falls below 700 then it would go down to 530 directly as scores between 560-695 are just not possible to achieve. Beyond the scores falling to 530 the further decrease in CRS points cut off would be very marginal, as most of the people in the pool are at scores between 350-500 and with every point drop there would be a significant number of applicants in the pool, and even not to forget all the fresh applicants in the pool with LMIA's and job offers(as job bank would be operational by April hopefully)
Quoting my self from earlier .. now on the drops in scores will be marginal as number of applicants in each points are much more than the higher point strata.
A dip of 20-30 points per draw would be seen henceforth.
Sitting despondently on 375...my hubby's ECA will make my points move up to 385 when i get the ECA in May...Statisticians....any hope that I will get an ITA by May?
1. Can anyone guide me , i haven't got my ECA report for my spouse , claimed point for Bachelor degree and masters .
Currently i got 347 point , should i wait for ITA or go for ECA ??
2. I have created my EE profile before my spouse IELTS expired (like 9 march expires and I created on 2 March ) , will they consider my spouse IELTs or they will ask for new (currently it is accepted and i got the points) ?
