As per I know if you are working in Government sector (MOH OR any other ministry) hospital and your position is as Registered Staff Nurse 1 you can sponsor your husband at any time. If your institute agree to give you the recommendation letter to bring your husband then there is no problem, you just need to check your eligibility with the personnel department. With government employees there is no salary issues only depend on your position, and according to the position the employees are fall in to different categories.
If you are working in private sector than your resident permit (IQAMA) should have the acceptable Nursing position and salary should be more then 5,000 Dhm. You employer should give you the no objection letter to bring your spouse.
However, there are other options that you might to check, you can bring your spouse in any other company on work visa.
2. Get release from present sponsor and transfer to other sponsor and stay in the country.
3. Get a privet sponsor to give you any free visa (free to work any where but have to pay the sponsor fee monthly or annual) and you have to shoulder all expenses.
Nowadays they r not following this rule. It depends on their mood also and ur vasta .

Shibuya is correct. I was just recently transferred to my husband's visa a week ago and the minimum salary requirement was AED 10,000. We were not asked to show proof of accommodation. It is also possible to cancel your employment visa and be transferred to a spouse's visa without leaving the UAE. This is what we have done.
Thanks for the replies guys! We did go and ask the typing centers beside the immig office as well as the immig officer itself. They said salary of 4K and above is enough to sponsor a husband.
But those who experienced sponsoring their husband please share also!
