Fees and application

I have a confusion with fees , as per my understanding fees needs to be submited along with the application . We are 2 ( husband and wife ) so I believe it will be something around 2000 USD ( thousand USD for each ) , if my application gets rejected does this mean that my fees would be wasted ?

what is the source of your information ? whatever it is - its pretty much inaccurate.

per applicant the fees is CAD 550 (not USD).

550 x 2 = 1100 CAD

You can pay via a Credit Card or a Demand Draft.

I am not too sure about the refund part but if your CC/DD is en-cashed and your given a PER then your app goes into the processing stage by the VO. If the your application is 'rejected' at this stage no money is refunded. You can double check this part in the FSW 2014 timeline for a faster response.
