Does anybody know whether there are any cases, where CIC does not require a Canadian police record?
My timeline:
Federal App sent Feb 2015
AOR April, 2015
In process April, 2015
Medical Sent May, 2015
RPRF June, 2015
Additional Docs July, 2015
DM waiting
I sent in my US criminal record with my application but I never sent in my Canadian police record, as the application does not require one.
I figured if they want one they'll ask me to get one. But now I'm curious do they always ask for one? Does anybody know?
Hi
I sent my application on Jan 15,2015 and they recieved on Jan 19.
I guess DM to PPR time is varying from case to case. My TRV is expiring soon and my Wife needs to travel on business to Paris, not sure to apply for extension of TRV or wait for PPR.

Hi everybody,
I am an application from Montreal under skilled worker Quebec Graduate category. My status is listed below:
Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 3, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on September 3, 2015.
4. Medical results have been received. (this morning January 12, 2016)
I paid RPRF when i sent the application.
My question is how long it will take from step 4 to DM and PRR. I stayed in Canada since i was 16 so i guess i dont need to send police certificate.
Thank You! and good luck to all the applicants.
My application was received on Jan 19 2015 as well! I also got DM. I hope our PPRs come very very soon!

hi there,
they sent me the med request in December 2015 and the status for medical received were shown on my previous post. I guess it depends on case. You might have the RCMP first and for me it is the medical request. I think it is every Tuesday that your status will be updated.
