I am currently located in Montréal and I have been working here more than one year as a full time worker.

File in process---Aug 17 2015
....
Until now, nothing new yet.
However, they keep making mistakes on my home address and mailing address.
I have a quetion about the medical request. Should I do the test first without the request? or should I wait for their request?
Anybody who has simialr experience, please share with me.

GUUUUUUYS!!! My ECAS was just updated tonight! I have two new lines now (lines 2 & 3)!!
1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 8, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 27, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on March 27, 2015.
4. Medical results have been received.
There is a speculation that the resources are diverted to deal with influx of refugee applications and that's why no update for any one in last month. Don't know how long this will last.
On the other hand, my friend got his PR in just 3 months thru express entry and I have been waiting for 20 months here

Hi guys, I had a question.
I got my GCMS notes for my QSW application at CPC-Ottawa, which I sent in November 2014. Its a long document where they use their own terms and codes so trying to understand and make sense of it.
It has a section where someone made notes after reviewing the application and documents I submitted.
In those notes they've mentioned that "applicant does not hold valid status in Canada, Status until: 2015/04/25" that's the date of expiry of my last TRV.
I was on post graduate work permit before, I got a new open work permit for one year recently and I got my TRV renewed up to next year as well. Should I send an email to CPC-Ottawa with a copy of my new work permit and TRV? I thought since CIC is the one who issued the work permit and TRV, they would have access to all my visas work permits and I don't need to update them myself
Also, I got a generic email back in July requesting for PCs but it also said that if you've already sent them, don't send new ones. Since I already sent mine with my app back in Nov 2014, I didn't send new ones.
In the notes they mentioned:
Police Certificates: - Pakistan: No reportable trace.
Does this mean they have my PCs and everything is good with them?
