And in another news, Express entry federal applicant got his PR in just 3 months. This is a big middle finger to all of the Quebec applicants, who have to wait more than that to get the AOR.

Hello Everyone,

I am so frustrated with what is happening with my PR application. I am Nov 2013 applicant and turned IP feb 2015. I phoned CIC last week to know about the status and the agent said call then again if I dont receive anything until April 15th and since nothing heard from them I phoned them again and the agent said she cannot give update as my application has no update. She said that she sent an email to the processor and they will give me update within one week up to 90days. If I dont receive anything until July 15 which is the 20th month of my application, she told me to call them again.. I feel so frustrated Sad Sad Sad
Does anyone with the same situation?

No, I was only asked for RPRF. What updated personal hitory form? Is that necessary for the application?

Oh no ... i have seen on other FSW forums that they have asked for updated personal information ( if anything has changed in your family, babies or divorce etc) then they ask you send it over.

It seems they're not working on QSW anymore? its been a while since we last heard of a passport request! :/
I didn't even get an update that my application is in process (and I had applied back in July 2014)

Thank you Tony.... unfortunately,My application is undergoing a background check, yeah, that's why.......I got my first CAIPS saying my criminality in progress, Medical passed, security not started,eligible not started .... I had submitted PCCs of China and fingerprints of Canada with my application. It also says RCMP screening no reportable trace till the date I ordered CAIPS....I have no clue how long it will take to finalize my application.

the application assignment due date showing in the file is July..... I hope I could get my ppr around that date.....really hate this waiting game.

you're not alone! Try order a Caips to see what happened to you case......

here is the news. I got my PPR today at 3:00 PM. I just sent the passports out now and am now sitting down and writing this to you guys.

This is about 20 days from my RPRF request.

So they seem to be working on the QSW applications after all.

Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone can do to predict or affect those processing times. So much randomness. Some people get it in 8 months, others in more than a year and half! :/
