Hi everyone, (This may be quite long but please read.)
I may know a little bit about family sponsorship but I need more advice on federal skilled PR application outside Canada.
I just recently became a PR through my spouse, and of course want to bring my family here. (Mom, Dad, Brothers and sisters.)
We are sort of a young family all of my siblings are younger than 22. And are in school or university.
I am willing to sponsor my parents but I know it will take a very long time for the parent's sponsorship that will start again on 2014 and by the time they are here it might be too late for some of my siblings to be sponsored by my parent's. And I figured it will be easier if my mom or dad has somehow find a skilled worker job.
So what I have been working hard for, for the last year or so is looking for an employer for my mom with a skilled worker position, So she can easily bring my dad and the kids with spousal open work permit and student permits for the kids. And I think I finally found one! And they are willing to go through the LMO process with me and give her a job if approved.
I am still not sure if I should just apply for higher streamed LMO and she can apply CEC later on or FSW arranged employment lmo.
Now my question if we got approved for an arranged employment LMO. And my mom submits an application for the FSW stream from outside Canada, Will she need to apply for a work permit separately? As of course she wants to get here and work while waiting.
Or should the first step be apply for a work permit first then when she gets here apply for the PR?
Thanks you guys for the future inputs.
