Welcome on board...I have noticed many cases were finalized without having showing E-cas : 'We have started the processing of your file on (xyz) date". Also no harm in shooting an email to buffalo or you might order GCMS note to have clear picture of what is going on your file..
1) How long normally takes for PR visa stamping on your passport, after you submit it to Buffalo ?
2) If you have applied for visitor visa in the meanwhile and it gets rejected, would it effect PR visa too ?
Thanks for your answer, it has been already 2 weeks. I guess I should be hearing something soon.
1) When I will re-land in Canada I will get a new SIN will my credit history get transferred to this number too ?
2) How to make PR card on urgent basis, as I need to leave the country after a month of landing ?
3) For some job applications my SIN card and COPR is enough or PR is required ?

HEY Eng_Mtl
About the PPT, I heard it takes Buffalo 15 days in average, so check with your tracking no.
1) You can get SIN# at anytime after you land. Go with Copr and PPT and temporary Sin#.
I did mine the same day I became PR... After that the system will transfer things automatically. You'll still need to notify banks and employer. And when you do the tax, they'èèll have to send you a code to activate online access for federal part. For Quebec, note you'll have to mail things the first year.
2) You can not sorry.
3) For jobs application only Sin # be needed.
exactly...in process generally means you have a visa officer looking at your file...so if they need anything more they might ask you to submit...but other wise its in the process of decision making...things are nearing...you will be done in 10months from your application date...so May'11 to March'12...
