Thank you and yes it was done in 10 mins. Am now officially Permanent resident since this AM. Also, I got SIN number and upon having the form will go to the CLSC to apply for Carte soleil.
One thing i find surprising is that they did not ask me for any pic to do PR card but kept my Work Permit.

So how long it took you to get the PPR request after your address disappeared from eCas... I am crossing my fingers as I am waiting for final answer; applied on 20th Oct..2010

I asked my friend why diploma is more difficulty to apply for. Then she asked her friend who is applying now.
That girl said cuz you gotta send your transcript from your country. She sent one, someone at Mcgill singed it according to the record of UPS. But now Mcgill says they don't have her transcript and refused to check who signed it....
In conclusion, I think she means that there are more details (potentially more trouble) you have to pay attention to if you apply for diploma.
The deadline of summer session will be Feb 1st, 2012.

awesome, congrats to you and about your question of the other day please visit workingincanada.gc.ca you can then search about opportunities, and get an idea of salary... for every province according to ur job title or noc.
Update: my e-CAS is now showing "Medicals received" on November 10th. Just a reminder, my address disappeared on November 6th, and it is still missing.

My ecas says, we received your application at June 7th, 2011. Ott-piolot send me an email last month my AOR+medical. I had my medical in 20th Oct. but sill my ecas says we received your application at June 7th, 2011. No updates, and my addresses is disappeared
There is nothing new on my side, the adress on my ecas disappeared last week but it doesn't show that the medical results have been received, However I just received an answer from Buff due to an email that i sent asking about the progress of my file. in the first mail it shows that buffalo want to recall the message I sent to them , and the second saying that i'm still on background check.. any idea about it guys?
