Hey there
My address appears as well, though the rest of the status is still the same (that is application and medicals received.)
I emailed Ottawa and they gave the standard response (of keeping correspondence to minimum).
I also did the GCM request form. It was not easy to understand but i think they are either doing my security checkup and/or my file is just sitting in queue, collecting dust. :'(
At this point, i dont think i can do anything else other than wait. I just hope the security/background/criminality background checkup doesn't take up forever.
I am just wondering if CIC is intentionally slower in processing international student cases/files, as opposed to the applicant applying from abroad.

I have just sent out my federal application to Sydney. From what I can see, most people take 3-6 months to receive AOR. Is that the first kind of communication I shall be receiving from them? Do they cash the money before that time?

yes you should receive AOR + Medical from CPP-Ottawa. I think it will be even faster than 3-6 months...more like 2-3 months. they are quite fast in doing initial processing these days
Congratulations...playhooky on ppr
I just wanted to ask you if you are currently employed in quebec and if you are an international graduate of a canadian university... this is to see which case is faster which would explain the fast processing of your application. becasue i have also the code 130 in my csq and I applied on September 2011 and nothing yet
Thanks
Congrats again on your ppr

now i know who u r, mario!
i just got graduated from mcgill one week ago, lol
so, i don't have job offer. and about code 130, i asked the same question be4. some ppl told me it counted, some ppl said it meant nothing.
here is my theory: after cic reform, code 130 should be emphasized. after all, if the code 130 is useless, y should quebec still keeps printing it on ppl's CSQ?
but that's just my opinion, it might be totally wrong.
by the way, just noticed there is two code 130? mine is "code 130 traitement prioritaire"
Felicitations!!!
I feel so happy when some csq applicants gets through. I am in a bit of trouble here. My file procesing has begun (in June). My study permit is about to expire in next two months. Want to have your opinion, how long do you think its gonna take after being in process to get a decision. I want to save myself some more paper work and wait to have the ppr. Whaddya think? :-\
