Hey ahmadauh!
Thank you ahmadauh! you will certainly get it a soon! as i sid it s only question of time, no more no less. Just try to emil them to see what s goinng on!
Thanks. Hope so. I already emailed them a week ago, they replied with this standard message: it takes a minimum of 30 weeks .... etc. Nothing specific about my application. So I dont like to bother them with more emails. Good luck with the rest ...
I'm new here. I applied for permanent residency through the QSW program.
Here is my my timeline:
Sent federal application to Novia Scotia on December 2, 2011
They received it on December 6, 2011
Received AOR and MR on January 19, 2012 by email through the OTT pilot program, which also notified me that my application has been sent to Buffalo.
My e-case states that it received my application and my medical results.
How much longer? It seems that everything went pretty fast compared to other people's wait times for their AOR and MR.
Do you think that I can be optimistic that I could be the lucky few to get my PR in 5 months?
Background: US citizen, already living and working in Quebec, married to Canadian (don't ask why we didn't go the sponsership route! We were misinformed that going through QSW was going to be faster and less labour intensive!)
Has anyone who applied in early December 2011 under the pilot project got their PR yet?
I am also in the QSW category. Here is my timeline

We received your application for permanent residence on September 7, 2011.
We started processing your application on April 25, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
So i am assuming another 3-6 months more for them to make a decision?
@cableguy
Yes it would probably take 4- 6 months. I have looked at many cases in this lengthy forum and most of the people seem to get email requesting for passport stamping 4 - 6 months after medical exam
My timeline from buffalo office
Application received: Jan 24th 2012.
Medical done: April 21st 2012
Thanks for your reply. If you don't mind my asking are you applying from within quebec or outside of Canada? I live and work in NYC and applying from here so I am guessing it will take longer than sooner. I think people who apply from outside of canada / Quebec have a longer waiting period. Oh well six more months. Maybe sooner. Fingers crossed!!
I did my medicals about 2 weeks ago and ecas shows medicals received; I am really hoping I get passport request within next 2 weeks. I am within Canada, is ppr with 2weeks - 1 month a pipe dream?
