Well, Quebec has not been listed here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

But we listed it as PNP among our self's since all applicants are within Canada... :P :P :P...

hi everyone
@ ITTECH, am from Tunisia, and i am in the same situation, as you, i already had them come here to do the medical exam because we had to do it at the same doctor, plus doing it in the USA conforms with our application, from usa to canada. if i do the medical from tunisia it will raise some red flags, so to keep it simple, whenever they will ask for the passports, i will fly back to Tunis, get the passports and fly back send them to buffalo and whenever i get them back, i can either fly back or find someone that is going back home to take the passports with him. in case they will call us for an interview before the issuance of the visa, they will have to come here and we all have to go to buffalo. just keep it simple and everything will be ok. it will cost you, but think of it as an investment to a better future and a better situation, frankly two airplane tickets is worth it.
we are in the same boat i guess, i did my medicals on the 19th of december, now am waiting for my status to change. nchallah everything will be ok. good luck

This is a great thread with lots of knowledgeable members. I applied for permanent residence visa on Nov 10th 2011. I have csq with priority processing from Quebec - "traitement prioritaire". I know standard AOR time is 5-7 months - will this be shorter with csq with priority treatment?
Given that I submitted my application Nov 1th via Fort Erie to Buffalo, when can I expect to receive AOR?

Your file will be piled along with other applications till the time comes to create a file no. if u send it now they won't be able to find out your application.

Wait till they create your file no. You will know your file number from the bank draft that u have. After two month check with your bank to know wither your BD cashed or not. When it is cashed, you order a copy of the BD and on the back of it you find your file no., use it with CI no. and send the PCC.

IMPORTANT

Hello Everyone,

This is really important, I received a letter from CIC Buffalo dated 22 Dec 11, asking me to send Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia. Where I lived when my father worked there for couple of years. Now I have already communicated to them that they dont give police clearance for former expat community members.

Also it is clearly stated on their website :

http://portal.mofa.gov.sa/Detail.asp?InSectionID=2813&InNewsItemID=65066

Now what should I do ? does anyone have experience getting PCC from Saudi without even being there. CIC has given me 90 days to produce this document.

Merry Christmas everyone

Thanks

To EngMtl

I think you should try to contact the your embassy in saudi and they will have better understanding of how to get it but I think you should do it fast because it may take some time...

I just had a question for you: are you receiving letters or emails from buffalo??? how has been the correspondance with buffalo along the process (mail o email)???

thanks

Hello Chibiks,

I applied on Nov 2010 to Buffalo. Can you please send me more details, if you have certain experience. I am thinking of visiting Saudi Embassy in Ottawa to get some official documents to satisfy Buffalo.

OPTION-2: Hiring a lawyer for this to convince Buffalo to waive this condition all together.

Any help or advice will be highly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Long time no see guys,

My passport arrived at NYC office on Dec 3rd.

The status on eCAS has changed to "Decision Made" last week.

Hope to have it back by the end of January.

Good luck to everyone, especially for remaining 2010 applicants.

My address is gone !!!!!!!

what does it means ???
