Should I mail them to buffalo office or Ottawa office. The last email I received from ott-piolot and they said my file has been received and open at Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo. But I send me medical to Ottawa address.
thank you ae03yy.. hehe finally, good thing they ask before I pay for school fee in 2 weeks time.... now I can postpone and ask for PR price instead....
I do have a question though, I know most of the 2010 applicants who had passport request from Buffalo office went on person or had rep to take their visa. But me, I am thinking to send my passport by mail, does any one know how long does it take for Buffalo to return the mailed passport?

My address is in canada so I sent it to Fort Erie. I sent mine on the 6th of last month and got it back on the 24th. According to the Buffalo office they try and have your passport back to you withing 15 working days. Good luck!
I'm btw going to Mtl next year and study at McGill or returning to Niagara and do it from there. What's ur suggestion? Any idea about Public Relations Graduate Diploma of McGill.
My friend told me applying for diploma at McGill is more difficult than applying for certificate. So it must be good)))
Why don'y you apply for graduate school directly? Master only takes 6 months more.

My plan is to get into public services and work about 2 years. Then have them pay for my Master degree. So this graduate diploma is for me to get in the gov't

Hi,
I believe u dont need a diploma to get into govt. Just send a lot of applications to different govt agencies and if u get in, u can then do your Masters. Doing a diploma then a Masters is not always the best choice coz most credits from your diploma will not transfer to the masters program and u will still have to jump other hoops like GRE and such depending on the grad school.

I am new to the forum and recently starting into this more. Need advise from all of you on my file which I filed from Buffalo as Quebec Skilled worker.
my current status : Sent/Rec'd 20/10/2010 - AOR rec'd 31/03/2011 - Med done 11/04/2011 - No Transfer letter and RPRF asked soo far. e-cas status: "medicals have been received"
I also filed another Federal application back in Sep 2006 with file number BXXX from NewDelhi office; back in June 2011, i requested to withdraw that application from India and continue with Quebec skilled worker application from Buffalo only. I didn't receive any reply from them.
When I go to e-cas it says: QSW Buffalo application " as application received on 20/10/2010 and medicals have been received"
Federal application " application in progress since Sep 2006"
Now, my question to all of you is...
1. Is it normal for me to wait more and not to contact Buffalo office to get the status of the application ?
2. I didn't pay RPRF fees before, should I pay it now...?
3. Should I follow up with New Delhi application to ask them to close that file ?
yeah just send it to Fort Erie. you'll have it back in 2 weeks normally.. You may want to include a CP prepaid envelop so they can send it back safely.

well the truth is my BA is in Applied Linguistics and French co-majors with Spanish as minor. So, I need something they are looking for and really need. Being bilingual is one but I know they need ppl in Communications or related field. That's why I'd opt for a Certificate/Diploma.
My Master will be in my field: Linguistics but I got to have something so they want me, you see. I'll apply and see but if eventually i don't get smthg fast, next Sept I'll be going back to school for 1 yr
