unfortunately i received back my application for permanent residency (federal) saying that my birth certificate was missing... the thing is that i did send my birth certificate so i dont know what exactly the problem was because they dont specify if there is a problem with the one that i sent...
can someone give me an idea why they say i did not send my birth certificate even though i did??
it was original from the insitution in my country in charge to provide this type of info (it contained the seals and signatures) and i got it translated from the order of translators of quebec....

No one can estimate that. Based on your location, the processing visa office is Abu Dhabi... if they were to followed the average application time then you should expect your process to be completed by Feb 2017.

I echo Sunny's request even down to start of processing date. I am still waiting for my application to start processing... its been 5 weeks since I received my AOR and still processing did not start. -_-

Hi,
I am Egyptian and I live in Kuwait as well. They started processing my application in February 2016. However , nothing has happened till now. From what I have read in forums it takes them approximately 12 to 16 months from the date of file submission to send for medical request. The good part is that after medical request, they tend to finalize everything so quickly.

You visa office will be abudhabi one of the most slowest VO
CIC set the process time to 12 months but some times it crosses that date to receive the Medical Request. Hanzmolar got the AOR February 4, 2016 and I got mine on 28 Feb 2016 we are still waiting for the Medicals
So just relax and wait.
I hope they can start processing our applications Faster.
