So there I was looking at the Excel document with everyone's updates and trying to guess when my application will be finally updated... I logged in and saw that there was an invitation to the test. I didn't even get an email, make sure you check the citizenship portal from time to time

• Background check completed on September 26
• Citizenship test "in progress" on October 7
• Scheduled to take citizenship test online between October 14 and November 3

It was, but my application was updated as well... I am pretty sure we don't get the updates in real-time, but in a batch that runs certain times

Quick Question: If the mail didn't comes from IRCC for test invitation, do I need to contact them. My exam starts from 14th October based on IRCC portal updates but yet to receive the mail. Any thoughts ?

I have the same dates for test invite and window, without any BCG update. I am also from Montreal, so at least there is some consistency in how they are processing the files.
