It feels like BS that as a single person I was told to apply online and now I'm at the end of the queue it seems. So much for that thought. At this rate it looks like I might as well renew my PR....

Totally agreed... I feel betrayed, since they did not clearly state that the online application is much slower... I am thinking about switching to paper application now

There is no simple way to switch. But I mailed my paper application along with the form to cancel online application to CPC-Sydney. I will keep you updated on how it goes. But even the best case, I will be considered submitting from June instead of February. So think twice before you actually do this

Took and passed the citizenship test today June 3rd.

Does anyone know what is the difference between ecas and new tracker tool? We applied for citizenship via paper and received AOR end of april this year. Ecas shows “Application received” whereS new tracker shows everything “in progress.
Just trying to understand the differences between these trackers.

My wife was a non-resident for the year 2017, and 2018. Do you think that still she has to file a tax return for 2017 and/or 2018?

We used this app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/canadian-citizenship-prep-2022/id1474568862?platform=iphone for preparation. It should be available on android too. Actual test was easier than the ones given in this app.

Did your status get updated after the test? Mine was June 3rd but still no update.
