Can a married couple without kids send two separate application there will be no problem with that. ( one online and the second on paper due to the age)

Thanks for the answer , but please why do you suggest that both should be on paper , since husband is 56 ( he had to do on paper), and spouse (45 she can do online). Especially they will not get same process , she had exam he doesn’t...etc. If they do in this way it will be an issue with IRCC or it will be ok, any help will appreciate

As I said it is a personal choice, CIC does not have a rule that you need to send all applications at the same time.
So it is really up to you. Do one online and the other by paper. Bottom line is that it is not against any rules, and it is personal preference.
Can one file and send citizenship application from abroad/outside Canada after completing required physical presence in Canada? Is there any bar in law/rules ?
