Did you happen to ask for urgent processing for the certificate during the oath?

Nope. Not travelling soon.

Applied yesterday at Service Canada for passport. Pretty simple. Person printed out a sheet with application number on it and it has a estimated postage date of December 21st, so about a month. With Christmas and stuff she said it might not actually arrive until the week between Christmas and New Year.

You can opt for faster processing for a fee but I'm not in much of a rush. Think it's $50 extra for 1-2 weeks and $100 or something for next day.

Based on current trends and holiday season, most likely next year if not in Dec end.

Omg!! I just got another update today and I am scheduled for March 11,2022! They processed the last few steps way too fast! Thank you so much everyone! Yayy!

just to conform , you can just apply at service canada, do you need to fill out any forms and take with you or everything is done at service canada ?
