Just got off the phone with IRCC--everything completed except for Eligibility. I'm surprised that my Security passed before Eligibility, which seems to be the case for a few applicants whose CoR is USA and VO is Edmonton. @legalfalcon, could you shed some light on this? I thought that Security only began after Eligibility is passed.
My AOR is also Feb 2021. I received GCMS notes yesterday after 2 months and only change mentioned is the change of VO to local visa office i.e. Ottawa to NDVO.
Not sure what it means. But I have read multiple comments in this forum with similar updates.
Got off the phone just now. The application is moved to the local vo (ndvo). Could not get any more info as the application is not within Canada. AOR Feb21. Meds expired. COR India.
Any idea how to reach ndvo?

It looks like they have transfered all feb21 aor files to local vo(mine too transfered to ndvo, called ircc yesterday, Aor feb21). Any expert comment on this ?
Is this positive step by ircc or will just delay our finalization and keep us waiting for few another months?

Eligibility hasn't started yet :/
My file was last touched in March. My medicals will expire in March. I am curious how IRCC goes about it, whether they will give remed or expedite the files with current medicals.
If you do decide to apply for GCMS. Keep us posted.
I applied for gCMS notes on Oct 29. Recd Jan 3. My meds expired in dec 2021

Yes - why not? Two options, you're proactive and do it before being asked. Or, wait for IRCC and do it anyway. Which one do you think will be quickest?
I hear it's not advised to do upfront re-medical after your initial one expires. For someone I know, IRCC requested for re-med and issued PPR 3 weeks after that.
They say it's best they request as that means your file is being worked on than you doing on your own as the document could just lie there unattended.

Security is usually the last stage. BGC includes criminality, security and info sharing. Criminality and info sharing are done early in the process where as the security screening is done after eligibility is passed.
When you ask for bgc, beware that it can include criminality and info.
A quick question. Do medicals expire 1 year after the day they are conducted or passed? I got mine done on 29th jan and they appeared passed in my profile on 9th march.
