Applied for GCMS notes on 10th Aug via getgcms and received it on 26th Aug. While my eligibility and security remain not started, criminality is passed.
Have only one question for now @legalfalcon, pls help:
1. The primary VO office mentioned is Centralised intake office and secondary is CPC Ottawa, which one should we consider as our VO office?
Thanks!

I am 1st feb AOR, i was in dilemma whether to order gcms notes or not. I am just concern about eligibility. Its fine for me if eligibility is passed and application takes a year longer. But i guess i should wait before ordering GCMS looking at your status

Primary and secondary are simply ways of classifying visa offices where your application is being processed. The Primary refers to where your application was initiated and the secondary refers to where your application will be processed after it meets the R10.
However, over the curse of processing, IRCC can send your application to other VOs too based on workload distribution and if you are outside Canada, then your secondary office will be your LVO in your country of residence.
FSW-O candidate here. My AOR is 17 Feb 2021. I have ordered GCMS notes twice, once in June and then in August. The last update in my profile happened on 25 Feb 2021.
Medicals - Passed
Biometrics - Done

Hi sir,
I had applied for pr in February 2021. I applied my gcms notes which were generated on August and showed eligibility and security has not started. My medicals and biometric is completed. My husband is PR holder. Can we apply for spousal sponsorship now? Will it effect my Express entry application? If we were to apply for spousal sponsorship what is the procedure.
Thank You for your help.

Wait, so the secondary office is more important when it comes to application processing? I've always thought my application was being processed in Mexico (my primary Visa Office) but it is actually currently being processed in the Centralized Intake Office (my secondary office) then? I've been sending webforms straight to Mexico. Was that a mistake?

It does not matter where your application is being processed. As I mentioned during the course of processing, your application can be sent to any office within the IRCC network.
As regards webform, unless specifically asked to use a VO-specific web form, all webforms are sent using the same generic link, which is then sent to the VO where the application is.
