Just received RFV email!!
Urgent question: we have a planned trip to Canada this Saturday and we are from visa-exempt countries.
Can we go there and inform them that we are in the country or do we have to wait?
Please advice
Congrats! How long will you be in Canada? If you have to send your photo, RFV letter, and passport copy to the NY VAC, a word of advice: you have to use their two-way courrier service to send the package.
I was in Canada when I got my RFV, which made the two-way courrier service a pain in the butt to use (since I needed to have the return package sent to my US address, and I couldn’t send the original package from Canada through their courrier service).
If you’ll just be in Canada for a few days, this won’t be a problem.
Hi everyone, I did my remedicals on 24th Jan. my profile shows ‘your action is required’. Can you guys please let me know whether I am required to upload the medical don the portal or raise a web form? Also, how much time does it take for the status to update?
You can submit the e-medical sheet using webform. The status will get updated once medical is passed. You can follow up with your clinic / hospital to check when the results will be uploaded.

Hi and thank you for your answer. If you don't mind I will send you a private message with few questions about the NY VAC...
Since I will be in Canada (as tourist), can I do the virtual landing and obtain the eCoPR? If that is the case, when is the "Goods to Follow" list compiled? @legalfalcon do you have an opinion? Can I do that? I have no problem in extending my visit and wait for PR card and similar there.

If you have changed your address on file, to a Canadain one, you may be issued a portal request.
Goods to follow can only be filed when you enter the PoE. You cannot file it when you are already in Canada. You can visit a CBSA office to submit the goods to follow list after you receive a COPR.
