When an app has been pending for long, sometimes they request that in order to know what you have been doing until now. It doesn’t mean anything bad.

Just received VISA ready and Passport submit request for COPR. Mailed the passports to Ottawa PR office as outlined in the email.

My timelines:
Stream: PNP (Ontario) Outland.
AOR: February 27, 2020
Biometrics: March 05, 2020
Medicals Extended: February 17, 2021
Passport submission request(Ready for Visa): October 29, 2021

Medicals extended January 2021

Criminality- not started
Eligibility- recommended pass

Visa office- Sydney

Country of residence- UAE

Ordered GCMS in Feb 2021 and got them after 4 months. Same status.

Again ordered GCMS notes last month. Waiting.

It's been 20 months! Don't know when this will end.

Similar situation for me. We can just be prepared for a long wait and welcome any news as a surprise. Hopefully 2022 will be kinder to us.

Usually it is because an officer did not review it yet; when it happens it is approved very quickly.
Or It may simply be that they review it but they did not update the status yet.

Okay. But the status is same since June,2020.
More than a year. May be by the time they stopped processing outland applications.

Yes, that is how it works. They are putting no resources on our cases. If there was an officer available it would take few hours to complete an application. Unfortunately it is not the case.
