To receive your COPR while you are in Canada you will have to update your address with IRCC.

As regards your job, if you are not working for a Canadian entity, you should not have any issues.

Why did it take so long if you are inland??

No specific reason. There was nothing pending from me. My only guess is that the application might have been in the covid pace group.
