My medical was done on 16 Dec 2019 and got expired. I have not received any update either for remedicals or extension. My AOR is 22 Feb2020.

Requesting your inputs on same. DO I need to take the remedical or should i wait for IRCC confirmation.

Also can I add my father along with me as an applicant now. If yes, what will be the procedure.

If your meds are about to expire or have expired, they will be sent for reassessment to the Regional Medical officer who will make a determination on whether to extend them or ask for remed. Medicals have to be valid when your application is approved and also when you land in Canada.

You can just wait for IRCC to get back to you if they decide on remed. You can also get a new meds done on your own accord. It is entirely your choice.

You cannot add your father to you application. You can only add your spouse, dependent children or adopted children. After you become a PR, you can sponsor your parents under the family class sponsorship.

If you've got your GCMS notes, check the 'validity date' in the medical section, it should be around Feb in your case.

Thank you. I've never ordered GCMS notes so I don't really know. Fingers crossed that it'll get extended without hassle.

Best to wait for IRCC to contact you if you need to do remed's. Also you would need to sponsor your father after you are a PR

Yes pls I also need an answer here. @legalfalcon, @caipsnotes, my medical expires May 25, my dependents expires July 27. Can they ask me to go for re-medical if mine expires before COPR.

Same. I am speechless to the speed of processing and seeing AOR from June to Sept got approved. LOL
