Hi All,

I sent my app on Feb 20th and got the AOR on May 13th... I am in Calgary AB..Can any one got test date, am I missing something.. Its been almost 5 month ... Do I need to call them to check ?

You know right that processing time is 12 months? Some people are just lucky to get it faster

Hi folks,

Passed our citizenship test today July 3, 2019 and during the interview, the officer told me that my security clearance still has not arrived yet and it may take up to a year from my application date. Do u have any ideas about the range of time it might take?

I'm in the same boat... it's been 2 weeks since they posted on ECAS.

I called up three times.. they said wait.

Any update if you get that FP letter in the mail

NO... to tell you I feel it's the most ridiculous system of sending things.. also I called the call center...they said wait for 4 weeks.. each time I call I get a freaking different answer.no consistency.. once they say it has been sent as a letter... second time they said email. I'm so clueless how they work. No one replies correctly.

Why all the mystery. !!!!

oh wow, that sucks. I really wish Ottawa had a much better system,Hopefully he's exaggerating and it comes soon. Any tips for the test preparation? I'm an Ottawa applicant as well

I wanted to ask how did you prepare for the exam? Is there a reviewer that I can buy?

Just read the book, I read it 2 times and that's it, the test isn't hard at all

I applied citizenship application from Scarborough, Toronto on 20th feb 2019 and received AOR and the status in IP from 6th June 2019.

Will I get test date directly?
Who will get FP? and why?
Is all must to get FP before test invite?

I just got the invitation to write the test today. The test is scheduled on July 25 but I will probably postpone it.
