I sent the application on Feb 20th and it should have reached on 25th Feb.. sent via Normal post.

May I know the next steps ?

I did not received any communication after that.

You should hear back in next 2 to 3 months (from date received) through email or mail, whatever mode of communication you have selected.

Based on current estimates, you should hear within next 6 weeks. Keep checking this website to stay up-to-date on processing times

When I check processing times and I click on "citizenship" there is another drop down menu with a number of options- "what kind of citizenship application- Citizenship grant, citizenship certificate (proof of citizenship), resumption of citizenship, renunciation, search for records" .
Which one of those apply for those of us applying for citizenship? I assume "Citizenship certificate (proof of citizenship)?

Citizenship - Citizenship Grant - On or After April 1st 2015
Answer is 12 months. Its been like this average last couple of yrs

Hi All ,

I have a question . ; I did a mistake in Section 9b - :-

Under the Status table ; My status during my eligibility period is Worker but accidentally for 1 month(The period when I got my COPR and when I landed) I put my status as 'TEMPORARY RESIDENT PERMIT HOLDER'.

How can I rectify this ?
