It's my pleasure

I can relate to your story, and I actually have a very similar experience.. I took the whole process for granted. Sure, it's not as efficient as they claim, or maybe luck didn't favor us this time. But I planned everything out, meticulously, based on the 6 month estimate. And now I'm literally in the middle of nowhere. What's more is I screwed myself over further by providing my US address on my passport when I thought I'd get my H1B, so now I can't even open a bank account in my own country without applying for a new local govt document that will take another 3 months. I can't apply for a new passport either because that would destroy my Canada PR application. I'm about to take up a job here now but I have no clue how they'll be able to pay me

I think it was Dwayne Johnson who in a really motivational speech to a sports team (it's on youtube) said that you have to remember the hard times to remind yourself what you're made of. The tougher your past, the tougher you are, but as we dwell back into comfort, we tend to forget easily

I also really like this line from the movie 'Gladiator': "Nothing ever happens to anyone that he is not fitted by nature to bear".
Sorry but I'm in inspired overload mode
