PPR comes like that, your profile will show no updates until you submit passport and you are issued CoPR

Unfortunately no one can answer your question, because no one knows clearly how long it takes. Most of the people active on this forum have crossed their 6 month mark and are frustrated by the lack of movement on their file.

I have mixed feelings
One side I am frustrated about the delay in PPR as I can see all my plans spoiled and causing me financial loss.

You can call IRCC and ask the for these specific details or you can raise a web form asking for the same. Ordering GCMS notes is another option. You can email Mr. Goodale (refer page 237) as well.

I don't have mixed feeling at the same time. sometime I am really frustrated, sometime I am sad and emotional sometimes I want to torture my visa officer. In short this application and visa officer have driven me crazy

We had planned to return by September end after getting PPR, that won't be possible after 14th as we won't get COPR by then.

They would:

- scan your presence in social media to see whether or not there are some clues for severe hatred dissemination or terrorism clues;
- ask the intelligent services of theirs located at the countries you've lived in to see whether or not anything has been ever against you in their viewpoint;
- check the organizations you have worked for (based on your working documents) to assess whether or not you have ever serviced to sanction-involved companies around the world;
