If in the work experience section you mentioned your last job, which was your latest job at the time of application and received points for it then yes, if not then not compulsory.
After you leave. An ADR might/might not be triggered asking for updated work experience (with end date) letter from you, totally depends on the agent and officer working on your case.
I can share with you what i know based on updates on various threads. Please check if your VO is Montreal (most Inland applicants and US applications are processed in that VO). If yes, Montreal takes more time to process the applications, at least 8 months to process the application. You can check Montreal thread to know more..

I'm not an expert at all. But they keep saying every application is different and so is the officer. However, did you call them or did you order GCMS notes? Anyway not getting a BIL is not a final decision! Everything has its way of working out to the best

I heard that these days CIO do medical biometric R10 and criminality check then then transfer file to the local office.
Its been 3 months since my AOR I called CIC today and the agent said that my file is not transferred to anywhere yet and thats why he cant tell me anything about criminality, eligibility and security.
Its been 3 months and I thought criminality is passed atleast.
I would take their word for it...Wait. We are all waiting anxiously and trying to keep my sanity. I see why you would be worried but I have seen someone in some forum saying he/she got their BIL after 68 days or something. I felt like "poor thing" ! But eventually they got it

Don't lose patience, every application has a different processing time as different officers are involved. Factors that can affect the application can be Age, Name, Gender, Travel history, Family Background, NOC code etc. Be patient. If you have your recent GCMS notes you can share what are the last comments mentioned so that we can see how far your application has moved.
