Eligibility - Passed (not in progress Recommended Pass anymore - as per the call centre agent)
Security - still not initiated.
File last touched - 21st August 2019
The agent also said security checks may take 3 days up to a week and its just a matter of time now.
Hoping to hear something soon.
No ghost updates since Biometrics.
Also what is frustrating is I haven't gotten my GCMS order from 6th July yet.. its been two months.
As per the GCMS authority the notes are delayed because the application is close to an approval and the application is prioritized over the notes.
I am hoping for the best.
Did they mention this or this is just another of many speculation, they make in the email. Cause they said the same to me and I received my gcms with nothing in it
Well... if the unyielding wait wasn’t enough, I am called by the HR of my company about my PR for the second time, as it has not gone down well with them .... I had to tell the client I work for about my PR since I needed leaves for paper work after receiving ITA who inturn told everyone else... it has become the HR agenda since then...
I hope the PR is worth it at the end ( if VO decides to issue one)

I didn't even tell anyone about my plans but some how one of my friend came to know about who told his friend (both weren't even working for my company), then they told someone else who was working with me and he told everyone in the company. My contract was ending in December 2018 and they plainly told me if I have plans to leave the company soon then I should make my decision fast. Well, I didn't think twice to resign. I was happy to leave that place and was excited about the prospect of moving to canada in 4-5 moths. Now, all the excitement is gone and I just hope that its all worth in the end

I feel your pain brother, the worst moment was letting relatives, friends and people at work know about our plans to migrate. Even worse, was telling them about this false deadline of 6 months. This is selective torture

I've had relationship troubles because of all of this If they had mentioned first up it would take a 8 months to a year, I would have planned so differently

Btw no progress on my application, eligibility is still recommend pass ... called up IRCC today ... everything is in order and only a matter of time when the officer picks up the file for processing and this may takes weeks and the agent said they cannot put a note for the officer....
