Exactly like what happened with my application...after asking the IRCC agent, i found that ghost update cleared my Elig, Crim...It most probably happened to yours. Call and check..G luck

Agent said that I have passed all background checks except the security check. Visa office is Vancouver. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing!

Is this a good sign or a bad sign? I have heard that the security check could take months, is that true?
I found out mine this way, when you submit your biometrics you get a tracking number from VFS check the status after 1-2 days. For me it said the data has been sent to IRCC New delhi so assuming that my visa office is New Delhi. Not sure if i'm 100% correct.

Great, that’s what I was talking about. Bear in mind that eligibility is always (met or recommended pass) you only pass eligibility when security completed and passed.
Now about security. Commonly it takes few days to weeks, however, minor people could be suscpected by IRCC which lead them to go SS, this might takes longer time. Wishing the best for all

Hi guys, i have just noticed something in my application. I have shown last 7 yrs experience in noc 2283 with reference letters and all. Then i have also mentioned my work exp as a software trainer under the same code but i have shown the Work experience letter only for that beacuse that is the only doc i have. Now i realised that software trainer does not come under 2283. Will that be a problem?my consultant said it will not be a problem since only last 6 yrs of exp will be considered for which i have shown all the documents

I thinknyou will be fine. They do just remove that year and recalculate your CRS score. Since the Max is 3yrs and you still have 6yrs it won't affect your score hence you are fine.

Had a ghost update on May 3rd and nothing changed since then. Called the agent and be told that my eligibility and background check is all passed. Everything seems positive only pending on final review. Can anyone advise how long it will be before I get my PPR.
