Hi guys - I received my test invite today. Literally on my 1 year mark since applying down to the date. I have a question about the documents to bring to the test. The test invite letter says I have to bring all the original documents I submitted as part of my application from the document checklist. Can someone please tell me what I should bring? The document checklist for the application says I need the application form itself, along with a physical presence calculator print out. So my question really is:
- Do i need to fill out the application form again and print and bring this?
- Do i just use the online physical presence calculator and print it out?
- Do i need to bring two photos again?
- My English language test was taken in 2013 - this is what I used to apply for my citizenship. So I guess I bring this test copy? I have it in an email as a PDF so I will just print it out
- I will bring my fees receipt
Those that have written their test already, if you can help out with what documents you brought to the test, that would be great!
I applied from Mississauga for citizenship on February 28th, 2018 and till date i did not receive the Test Invite. DO you have any idea whats the reason. Keeping in mind the following points:
1- Application for family (2 Members)
2- Application was received on March 5th.
3- in process since May 17th, 2018
4- I called to follow up last month and confirmed that my application looks fine and waiting for test invite.
5- Online still shows in Process.
I will be completing almost one year. Is it normal to take that long ?

It is normal I believe. Many of February Mississauga applicants have just (or not ) received their test invites. Considering that you applied at the end of Feb, also that test invites comes in batches (they sent invites to a bunch applicants at a time, not daily routine i believe), you are within normal processing times. Within 1-2 months you should receive test invites, hopefully.

My wife took the exam and pssed 19/20 but during the interview the officer said she need to take another language assessment and due to long waiting list it may take at least 4 months !!! disappointed . Any advice please
Just finished writing the test and passed at the Mississauga office. Interview was pretty straight forward and did not last more than a couple minutes. Now the wait for the Oath Ceremony begins. One more step closer to becoming a Canadian Citizen!!!
