I just want to clarify the CIC send the test notification to your personal email right? Can we see test notification in our eCAS too or just in personal email? Thanks and best of luck to you on your citizenship exam.

You will see a new line indicating this invite in ecas

usually they get the fingerprints if some criminal/offender has the same name and date of birth. so for clarification purposes, they go for the finger prints.
