yes finger print request, this is now happening to most of the applicants who have frequent traveling outside Canada, nothing to worry about though.

I contacted my local MP office (Brampton West) after exceeding 1 year since submission. Below is the reply that IRCC gave to MP.

Thank you for contacting the Information Centre for Members of Parliament and Senators.

Following your email enquiry to the Information Centre for Members of Parliament and Senators on February 12, 2019, we received the following answer for the citizenship enquiry for NAME App: NUMBER:

"Please be advised that we are currently scheduling applications received in January, 2018. Note that this file was received on February, 2018. We anticipate we shall be able to process the file in approximately 6-8 weeks. Client will be notified once the testing date has been finalized."

I am not sure if this means anything? Are they saying that my file will be completely processed in 6 to 8 weeks. or they are saying I will get test invite in 6 to 8 weeks?

My test was on February 6th and it still hasn't changed to decision made! Should I contact them?

My application was received by CIC on Feb 2nd 2018. But still my application is 'In Progress' with last update in Aug 2018 requesting for fingerprints.
Is this too much of delay or anyone out there still in 'In progress' like mine?

In process since April 18

Since then no news from them...I called them today and they says it’s still in Sydney and we r are working on it..same answer since last 3 month

Hey guys - passed my test. Got 19/20. I was over the moon. Small victories of life. Thanks for all those who responded to my questions about the test here and the documents to bring. It was definitely helpful.

My test was on Feb 16. Status changed to decision made on Feb 18. Now, the wait for the oath invite. Wondering how long it takes from ECAS changing to decision made to the time you receive the oath invite?

you have to wait for decision made status to get the oath, did the person ask you for any documents or clarifiction at time of interview? noramlly the status get changed from in prgress to decision made within 2/3 days

Congrats! Did you receive your invitation by post mail or email? I also took the test on the same day.
