Are you applying under family class? Are you applying under another class? If you got married in India, you will have to amend whatever application you have in process to reflect that you are now married. When did you file your application and did you receive a AOR yet?

Yes I am applying under Family class. I have not yet applied plannnig to apply somewhere in August. I am still in India. Its been 2 months already for me. I took this decision because at a personal level I will never get an opportunity to spend 3 months with my family.
Also I have 1 more question My wifes PCC was issued on April 25th Is it still valid ??? as per guidelines It should not be over 3 months old while filing an application. The PCC is itself valid for 6 months, I am aware of that.

I'm highly curious as to why some US applicants are getting COPR in under 4 months and others seem to be stuck in limbo for ages. Just curious, do you have kids ChellyCat? I wonder what makes the applications different.

Nope, no kids. I know I couldn't even get a DM at this point anyway as I'm still waiting on my FBI check (FBI told me they mailed the report out to me this past Friday though so I can expect that any day now and then I'll be overnighting it to Ottawa) but I am trying to find a pattern so I know how long I can expect to wait. I definitely can't find one. Looks like some CPC-O September applicants are just now getting DMs, and then we have some random Feb'ers. Makes no sense!

I emailed an inquiry at the beginning of July, and they replied one week ago saying "still processing", but on the website it says all they have done is received it, no processing. Is this taking longer then normal? Should I be worried?
