I got a Decision Made status today. It also indicates that CIC sent me a letter on April 16 via mail, but I also received an email today of the copy of the decision, which is approved! Woohoo!!! The application has now been transferred to Manila Visa Office. I hope it won't take long to process my husband's application. I will add my timeline on the spreadsheet. Thanks and good luck to everyone. I'm so happy

Hi! Is your medical done upfront? I'm on manila VO too. But my husband wasn't able to have his medical done prior to our application. I wonder if that'll slow down our process.

Yes upfront. It is stated in Guide 3999 in the CIC website - "You must undergo an upfront medical examination by contacting a Panel Physician." "Note: When medical results are submitted up-front, routine cases benefit from faster processing since we do not have to request them at a later date. If you choose to have an upfront medical exam, you must submit proof that you completed the medical examination with your application. Failure to do so may result in processing delays."
Maybe it's also a case to case basis. I am not really sure how the applications are being handled by the visa officer. The first time I was able to access Ecas, the status on my husband's (Principal Applicant) is 1. We received your application for permanent residency on … 2. Medical has been received.
When did you submit your application? Have you received AOR or SA yet?
The person who signed for my application was s.somandarum and now it's no where to be found I called my mp there looking into it .. but I'm also calling mla and calling a lawyer and the Jamaican consulate
I redid my forms today and have to gather all documents and my husband has to do his medicals and police check again and passport photos and I got too get my opition c again and work letter and pictures, bank statements... Ive been crying and can't eat or sleep I'm a mess...
I don't even know how too get his Canadian police check cause hes not in Canada anymore...

Hi MrsB, have you gotten AoR yet? Our VO is also Manila, received Feb 23 according to courier company. No AoR or SA upto now. It's close to 62 days... This is driving me crazy
I talked too the cic call center and they didn't want to hear my case really .. I told them I have proof it's signed and recieved and they said you will have too redo it like WTF how does that happen
Maybe you can try calling again and hopefully you will speak with an agent who will look into the case. We called this week too and all they said was they were still working on apps around Feb 4, which is weird since we have seen people from March on here receive their AoRs. They didn't ask for our info or check their system at all... Feb 23, still waiting.
