It seems like the more and more I look over the forums there really is no rhyme or reason to how CIC processing their applications. Some folks are waiting from early February to hear anything, where some from mid February have already received AOR. I wonder if this is just due to individual workers going through their applications at different rates, as well as the actual size of the package people are sending. I know our package was quite full and I almost felt bad for the officer that has to go through it since we sent so much. However, at the same time I'm paranoid so I wanted to be sure there was enough evidence to demonstrate that we are in fact married and in a genuine relationship. Any ways, good luck to everyone waiting. I'm a little jealous of the February crew because we planned on sending our in by the end of February but when the time came, the package just wasn't quite complete. We are March applicants so hopefully the next month will bring good news to all February applicants and start the process for those of us in March. Good luck everyone!

I would be really interested in doing the statistics on this, if I could get enough input data. Possibly, it's just a matter of working to the indicators. For example, CIC measures the 20% of cases rate as well as the 80% of cases rate, so if a worker has targets for both, it makes sense for every 5th package to open out of sequence just to fill the statistic. Other possible issues are labelling and pre-existing UCI numbers. In generally, the processing times already account for the quasi-random advanced cases, so just feel good for the lottery winners. I'm in the same boat of wanting to apply for the end of February then waiting 3 more weeks to get the final paper.

I haven't received an AOR but I am able to log into ECAS with my client ID #.
I see the application received and its in process

We were able to access online services after receiving AOR on April 10 (4 days). It states they received our application on Feb 19 and that they have received my husband's medical info.

ECAS shows me DECISION MADE!!!! Unfortunately it says this: We sent you a letter on April 10, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

So now I have to wait. Omg this might just kill me!!! Why can't it just show approved or denied on ECAS? Yeesh! Btw, my app was received Feb 5th just to help with the timeline.

EDIT: Also should add, it says they sent me a letter on April 10th. So that was four days ago. I live in Mississauga; it definitely doesn't take four days to get to the same city?!?!

Suzanne, we are Feb 13 applicants and have heard nothing yet, too. So stressed. Did you try to call CIC?
Hi Monna,
Which Visa office you applied? Is that Mississauga?

Ya they received my application Feb 6 and nothing is even showing on the system yet... but my package said who signed for it and the time on the 6th they signed... I can't wait until I'm showing on the system at least... the stress is building urgh

Hi,

Im new to this forum,

AOR send by email?
How to update our details to spreadsheet?

Thanks.

My Wife's ECAS is updated to In Progress however we never received AOR.

I applied on February 9th. Just wondering if anyone else who applied around the same time have received SA? I got AOR on April 2nd. It's almost going to be 2 weeks since we received the AOR. Should I be getting worried?

Sometimes CIC sends AOR's out and sometimes there is none. When I first sent our application there was no AOR at stage one. However we did receive An AOR for the second stage when everything was received by Manila.

Hi Senthuuran, welcome to the forum! Yes, we applied to Mississauga. I am a naturalized Canadian, currently living with my husband outside of Canada for almost 2 years.
Good luck and try to keep calm in this crazy waiting game.
