Friends, I need a suggestion from you guys. My existing WP expires in 2015 July. However I am planning to switch employer. Since I have file number, will I be able to open WP now? Or will the new employer still has to obtain LMO ?

You don't qualify for a bowp, as your current work permit is valid for more than 4 months. Your future employer will have to apply for a lmo for you.
