Great! I hope they can help you. Maybe you will get an answer all together, from New Delhi, Manilla, and your MP! I hope it helps solving your case soon. Good luck !
Sweden
I have received the approval letter that says my application has been forwarded to the visa office abroad (singapore).
It's been a month since I received the letter.
But when I check e-case, under " Permanent Residence Application Status" it only shows "application received" with a date of the application arriving at CIC-Mississauga, shouldn't it say application forwarded or something to that effect? is this normal?
Better call CIC and write a letter to the Visa Office for the name correction. If they issue a PR visa with wrong spelling it would be a problem and it's very hard to correct it after.
uuuuf shoot u need to have ur name corrected; i'm not sure if the vo can do much, they just see that the names don't match and they might wait for the csq with the correct name; u need to contact micc (calling them would b best) and they will just resend the paper with the correct name; then u will also send a copy of that to the vo with a letter explaining that this one has the name correct, the first one did not
u need to solve this don't wait for them to do it, a misspell in the csq can give u trouble after u land; good luck!! i'm sure it will just take a matter of days to have everything in order
(also congrats on sending the extra medical papers did they actually reply to u abt the extension or no?)

Not at mine. Here they don't accept inquiries by phone and you can email only if it has been past their processing time from cic website. I haven't received an AOR either. But I don't know about London
