You will receive an approval at any time. If CIC moves the date from Feb 15th to another date and you still receive nothing from them better call them and ask your status.

I sent in my application on February 15th, I still haven't gotten any response, neither a UCI number or an acknowledgment letter that they recieved it.. :-X

Are you the sponsor? If you are not in Canada, the letter could have been mailed and is just taking forever to get to you.

You should just call on Monday. No sense in worrying any longer since March is getting approved. But there are always a few people who wait an extra long time for some reason. Don't worry, you'll get approved, EVERYONE does!

my visa office is new delhi i called CIC yesterday guy told me no update he took my info like tracking ,reciept no etc and ask me to call back in 3 weeks that weird but may be monday is my day i saw another 13 feb got the aproval fingers are crossed hoping for best

My application was received on February 28th (one day before you). I haven't received any news from CIC either.

The waiting time (90 days) written on CIC's web site is not correct. They're Working on applications received on February 15, 2012. Therefore the waiting time is more than 90 days.

Some March applicants say that they are approved, but most of them are from Ottawa Office. If your office is Mississauga you have to wait little longer.

There are a lot of people in the same situation same as you and me. We have to be little more patient.

I think the reason for some March applicants getting approved before Feb applicants is due to some applications being sent to Ottawa. The Mississauga office seems very slow, probably due to the volume of applications...so if you haven't heard anything, chances are your application is going to be processed in Mississauga.

Don't worry, though...chances are they will finish all (or most) of February by the end of the first week of June! So, you guys only have a few more days to wait!!

And I noticed that they messed up with my address in India. What should I do?

I applied at end of January and have a VERY IMPORTANT question...please help! I want to contact my MP in Canada about my husband's application. I got my passport request on May 10th and on June 18th, it will be a month since my passport and other documents were received at New Delhi visa office. I want to contact MP soon, it that ok? I have heard that it can delay the processing and when they find your application to give your status to the MP, the application is taken out of line and put at the end? Is that true or not? or will it actually help for MP to contact and remind them to start working on my application? I am also outside of Canada in India now and is it ok to send a signed and scanned copy of my consent form for inquiry into my case my email to my MP?
i mean my passport and other documents were received in ND office on May 18th and i am thinking about contacting my MP around June 18th, which is soon. my question is that is it ok to contact my MP one month later, since I have not heard anything about the status except application received?
