I'm hoping we have a shorter wait. Seems like there was a huge number of applicants in December and January.

I hope so too I remember processing times were 70 days at the end of last year.

I asked about the whole website processing times thing, like others have said, its just an approximate.

She also confirmed that effective the last coup,e of weeks, everyone that provided an email address will receive an AOR. I did say that some people in our group haven't gotten them, she said its a newer thing, that's why.

Let's hope what the agent has said is true and we'll receive an AOR

Hi all I have been following this forum but joined today. I sent my application on the 13th of feb. without the FBI clearance and got my FBI clearance about a week ago. Question do I have to wait to get a response from CIC before I can mail it to them. I am scared it might expire since it is only valid for 3months. My wife is yet to get sponsorship approval letter. can someone help

I read they will return the application if it doesn't have the police clearance. If you mailed it later I'm not sure how it will catch up to the application. Maybe you should email them. Or call.

I hope by the end of this week processing times will jump to mid and late Feburary and we'll all receive good news

They will update on tuesday or wednesday. I am thinking they will probably be on early February.

I am getting anxious too especially when early to mid January applicants call and their app cannot even be found. But I think it is a computer system problem and it isn't reflecting what is on paper.

I hope they update the numbers today or tomorrow.

I haven't received any AOR till now.

App mailed: feb 16
App received: feb 20 (my best guess - USPS wouldn't let me track it)

Special note: We got a PR in 2010 in less than 3 months while both living in the US but some major things changed and we couldn't move before it expired. They wouldn't extend it. So this is round 2 and it's taking way longer!
