They send you a letter in the mail. But you can also know ahead of time by calling/emailing them once your CC is charged.

Any idea if someone needs to resend their fingerprints, are the new fingerprints processed after 3-4 months only or promptly ?

According to the FBI's records, your request was successfully completed and were mailed on 1/22/2018. Does that mean fingerprints were accepted?

I applied for my FBI PCC in Aug 2017 and received the same dated 5th Dec 2017. In the meantime I had to leave for my Home Country(India) on 24th Nov 2017 and came back to US on 16th Dec 2017 . Is my FBI PCC invalid now ?

I sent Saturday morning. So you should hope for a reply later today or tomorrow or you can call them

If you currently live in the US then your PCC from December should be valid for 6 months.
