FBI US PCC which applications are currently being processed ?

Hi Guys,

My wife's FBI-PCC was received at my brother's US address yesterday( 26 December 2017.) The copy when scanned is not showing the FBI-logo in the back ground. The FBI-PCC that I received in April 2017 when scanned clearly showed the FBI logo both on the cover page and on the main page. Also my brother told me that the logo is not seen even when it is photo copied. I wanted to check if this is the same with you guys as well. Please reply soon.

I could clearly see the logo when I scanned mine. You can try to underexpose or increase the contrast of the scan to show more detail.

For the FBI PCC check what do I write for:

1)Your No. OCA
2)FBI No. FBI
3)Miscellaneous No. MNU
4)Reason fingerprinted: (Canada PR requirement?)

and do I have to write my employers address or leave it blank?

These questions are silly but I dont want to take chance and be rejected after 3 months just because I left one of these blank.

From the FBI page (only Name and DOB are mandatory):

• Your name and date of birth must be provided on the fingerprint card.
• The name on your response letter will match the name indicated on the fingerprint card.
• If the last four digits of your social security number are needed on your response letter, then please ensure your full nine-digit Social Security number is on the fingerprint card when submitting your request.

My application reached FBI on 27th September 2017. What is the validity of the FBI PCC once its issued ? I'm currently in the U.S and dont have an ITA. I'm with a CRS of 427.

In many forums, I read like the validity of the PCC from the current country of residence is valid for 6 months but here I see its mentioned as 3 months; Thus, getting confused on which one is correct ...

No question is a silly question ... The instructions for filling the FD-258 card is available here: https://www.state.gov/documents/organization/103665.pdf

For the reason fingerprinted, you can write something like "Applying for Canada PR"

Usually its done in any law enforcement agency or a dedicated fingerprinting place.
In Massachusetts they wont do it at the police station so I had to get it done through a private fingerprinting agency called Mills Fingerprinting service in Boston.
Even they do with regular black ink (not electronic).
Its good to get it done by professional on Fingerprint card, you can also buy fingerprint card from Amazon and do it yourself.

I live in Northborough, MA and got my fingerprints from the Northborough Police station, not sure in which county you have checked

It is valid for 180 days

what is the current status on the FBI reviewed date? It is stuck on 18/19 since a week, didn't know any update since.

Got email from them. They are on September 21. Which worries me a lot,mine was delivered on the 20th.
