FBI US PCC which applications are currently being processed ?

Today response to my application submitted on 08/09/2017 . Seems strange as for next 3 days processing they will take 2 week ..!!

Thank You for your inquiry. Today, we are opening mail from September 5th, 2017. It may take a couple of weeks to get the Sept. 8th mail opened. I cannot quote a specific date when you will receive the report as it depends on how many thousands of pieces of mail are received for each specific date.

i think thats the reason they had to increase the wait time.."how many thousand of pieces"...wow...i am worried now..

i think the answer seems sarcastic from them .. As it looks like many people are asking same question ..
Based on trend it seems currently they are taking 2-3 days max to process single day request .. so hopefully on Friday we will get real picture

Hey guys. This is for my fiance, his application was delivered on sep 5th too. But he had given a money order. So what do you guys mean by CC being charged. Can you please clarify. We are getting a little worried now.

"CC being charged" is for folks who chose to use credit card (CC) for payment to the FBI. Sep 5 applications are still being processed, so not to worry, it may take a day or two. Keep checking status by emailing identity@fbi.gov .

Update - Just called FBI.
Our fingerprints are accepted and the results will be mailed out on Wednesday.
Huh..sigh of relief.

I just called FBI.
Finally, they are done with Sep 5 applications and they are processing Sep 6 applications now.

So looks like 2-3 days they are taking for processing 1 day request ..i am keeping finger crossed for my application delivered on 08 Sep.

As Sep 5 was long weekend it took few days otherwise they are speeding up. You might hear about your application by Thursday. Good luck!
