Question 1: On my FD-258 card, in the field "Reason Fingerprinted" I wrote, "FBI Identity History Summary Checks". Is CIC anal about what was written on the card? or do they ultimately care about the final report. I would rather do this right than wrong since there is a long processing time, but from what I've read, there is no hard and fast rule that says, your reason on the request should be such and such, right?
Question 2: If I get my FBI report ahead of time (before ITA), how old would CIC accept the PCC duration for? 3 months? 6 months? Because if I apply early and don't get selected in the pool for several months, my PCC might go to waste, any suggestions?

2. If you are outside of the US, and don't enter anytime soon, the PCC should be fine. If you enter the US again, then you will have to get another one done. I do not know how long it is valid for, when you are in the US.
