FBI report asked 2 Time in the same CIC request ...

Hi friends,

Can anyone kindly look into my case.

I got the following FBI report request from CIC and another one for my wife.

Dear ARUN ,
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the
review of your application, we require the following documents:
 UCI ***** - ARUN:

 FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age
of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate This must be received by: 2015/11/21

 FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age
of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate This must be received by: 2015/11/21

Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account by: 2015/11/21.

In my wifes request they have asked only one report.


I got 3 upload windows out of which 2 for me and 1 for spouse.


Is this a CIC Error ?, Did they intend to ask one document for me ? Does anyone came across similar situation

It looks like a technical glitch in the system. Upload your PCC twice with a LOE, your wife's PCC once.
If the VO needs some additional info other than what you have uploaded, they will send you a request again with all the details.

I checked the letter I received on 10/14 asking for FBI certs for myself and my spouse. There were two separate lines, each with our names, listing the specific request. There were only two slots to upload--one per person.

Definitely looks like a system glitch. Suggest uploading yours twice, your wife's once. Explain the glitch in a letter.

I included the cover letter with both our certificates. One PDF per upload slot.
