FBI police certificate from USA expiration question?

I sent my FBI request in November and received it in February 2010. I finally sent my application in April 2010. My problem is that by the time my application is going to be sent to the Buffalo office (it is in Mississauga right now) my police certificate will be expired.

It took the FBI almost 3 months to send me a new one! Will immigration ask me for a new certificate or is the one I sent fine.

I did the state clearance and that was sent to me right away in November and expired in February since they are only valid 3 months

any help will be appreciated

Everyones expires in process,as they are only good for three months.If they require a new one they will tell you but for now i wouldnt stress about it too much.

I think as long as you have submitted your application in general before it expires it's ok, but I'd be curious to see an expert confirm this one too.

Actually, they are valid for six months - not three, but they need to be submitted to CIC with your application before they are 3 months old. So yours was not too old when you submitted it, and is still valid until about August. I doubt they will ask for another unless, for some reason, processing of your ap takes an unusually long time.

Well i mailed my app beginning of April

The Letter state:
Received by the FBI: Nov. 12 2009 and Returned Jan. 27, 2010

so the three months are April 27
