yes, someone got asked by CIC to provide PCC when they stay in a country for 5 months +. If i were you, i would just submit the request for her in case the queue for electronic processing becomes longer later.
Thank you for the information. Will start the process just to be safe. She was there for 143 days, just 7 days short of 5 months and that might raise CIC interest.
Never heard of that kinda request plus its not mentioned in the police certificate page of the CIC. It may be candidate specific in some cases, but generally you don't need one.

My status currently says Your application is in an INSUFFICIENT status for the following reason: Missing fingerprint card.

My apologies if this question has been asked already, but is there some way to know the status and eta for our application ? My documents reached the FBI office in the first week of December.
Whether your packet was delivered or not, you need to check with courier. You can check with FBI on +1 304 625 5590 regarding which date's applications are being processed right now.
Btw they were processing Oct 27th applications yesterday, so you still have to wait for around 1 month probably.
