FBI Clearance - Please Help.

Hello everyone, I am based out of India, and I have received request for Medicals along with new PCC, FBI Clearance, RPRF, revised application & background form, Travel Form, Photos and original Passport. I have been provided with a time line of 30 days to provide all the documents.

I have all the documents in place, except FBI clearance. I have worked on a Shipboard in the US from May 2006 to Aug 2007, and I was on a C1D visa which is a seamen's visa and did not permit me to stay on Land.

Is the FBI clearance still applicable to me? if it is applicable to me, Please help me with the process of getting FBI clearance from India.

You will have to apply as per the information on the below website directly to FBI with your fingure prints and USD managers cheque. However it will take 6 to 12 weeks for PCC. (better give any local address of USA for them to post the PCC which will be faster) ... Further you can search many chains on FBI PCC information here.

I sent application with fingerprints to FBI and below is my timeline:

24-Jan-14 Docs delvered to FBI
19-Feb-14 CC charged by FBI
27-Feb-14 Report delivered to US address (wrote in application)

My friend will send it to my home country by Fedex. Hope this helps.
