Family Information form

When filling out the family information form (5707) does anyone know how to sign it online or will I need to print it out, fill it out and scan it?

I think what I did was I print it off and wrote the information myself (esp. when you have to write your and your family members' names in your native scripts), then I scanned it (if you need to upload it to the IRCC website)
